I ordered service for an Ark game server, I saw they added two things since last I order one. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors and hope to be able to serve you again in the near future. Any host that does not limit world sizes is letting these worlds run rampant and you will experience poor performance when their hardware becomes overloaded as a result of running out of memory. We implore you to reconsider your overall rating of our service as a whole and not based on one product. A 2-star review of our overall service based on a decision we had to make that we had no choice over does not make sense. This was completely out of our control and all we can do is react to the changes to cover the new resource utilization that would be used and still be as fair as possible to our loyal customers and to all of our new customers and potential customers that joined us for A17.

The new tiered system for world sizes based on slots is not the solution that we would have preferred but is the solution that makes the most sense based on how the A17 dedicated server software acts and performs. Based on our findings of how the A17 dedicated software works we came to the same conclusion that world sizes needed to be coupled with certain slot sizes based on the average memory usage each world size used and how many potential players those worlds would have. We give 100% ftp access to all of your files and we do not limit hard drive space or memory usage outright except for java based games such as Minecraft where it makes sense to sell servers by amount of RAM. We have SSD drives, DDoS protection, and around the clock customer support via email, ts3, and we are available on live chat as much as possible. Something to remember about our service and our pricing is that we consider ourselves to be a premium host. We have never overcharged our customer base and have always been extremely fair with our pricing. Maybe we could have been more clear but we are definitely charging for more RAM based on world size and slot count (because player slots use RAM and CPU too). This is mentioned in our original response to you where we reference "new resource utilization". Larger world sizes were found to use more RAM based on our tests and therefore we must charge for larger worlds because of the larger amount of RAM being used by those larger worlds. Response to Update: The default world size for Navezgane is 6144km so we matched that for Random Gen worlds. If they stop trying to fleece their customers, they'd get more stars. They are the ONLY company who expects this. Apparently to get what the game gives as standard, I need to pay them more. But then they decided to limit 7 Days to Die A17 world to even smaller than the default. I was with them for quite a while and the server was fine and support was good. No amount of waffle from you guys will excuse that. But you are charging extra for the BASE game. If you were charging for more RAM or SSD, that's one thing. I didn't buy a car and pay extra for the wheels from the dealership because Ford put wheels on but the dealership thinks it's ok to sell them with three. I won't be using your company whilst you continue to do this. You are charging people extra to get what is in the base game. You chose to limit the world size to smaller than the in-game default. Original review Update: Now you have one star not two. Don't use them for Darkness Falls they'll double your bill. EDIT 2021 They've changed to at least giving you the standard size map.
